Mission Statement |
The
TransAtlantic 2020 section was opened in March 2001 as result
of the partnership between Webportal TIESWeb and European think-tank
EUROPE 2020.
TIESWeb.org is dedicated to bridging European and North American
civil societies on a sectoral base.
EUROPE 2020 has developed an original method, the Anticipation
Method, considering that no action can take place if it does
not result from a general vision of goals, context and risks.
From this encouter, was born the project to open a 2020 section
on TIESWeb dedicated to listing European and North American
organisations concerned with future studies wheatever their
sector : hightech, foreign relations, environment, local government,
...
Apart from this collection of links, TransAtlantic 2020 will
provide a continous discussion arena for all future experts
interested to develop Transatlantic projects or relations.
An selection of future related events taking place in Europe
and North American would also be presented on the section as
well a selection of news gathered on a weekly basis.
