What is the TCM?
|
The
Transatlantic Citizen Marathon is a
series of conferences and debates led
by the President and founder of TIESWeb,
Franck Biancheri. The goal for the Marathon
is to discuss the future of EU-USA ties,
to increase awareness of the EU among
Americans, and to create a prospective
vision of our common future. Franck
will be presenting his 5
topics for the strengthening of
transatlantic relations with different
local speakers at each conference, opening
up a debate on the most pressing issues
that have led to the current distancing
of our two continents.
The debate series is a great opportunity
to learn first hand about the recent
changes in the EU, the European opposition
to the war in Iraq, the importance of
international education and much more.
Franck is a proven moderator and articulate
speaker having successfully accomplished
the Newropeans
Democracy Marathon in 2002-2003
in which he moderated 100 conferences
in 25 countries (the success from the
Marathon earned him a place among Time
Europe’s 20 Heroes of 2003).
