Transatlantic Ties Are Not What They Used to Be:
How can Americans and Europeans
Reshape Transatlantic Relations in the 21st Century

What is a TCM Partner ?

A TCM Partner is an organization that would like to help host a debate in their city. It is an opportunity to help educate your community about international relations with a focus on transatlantic issues, Europe, and the European Union. As most Americans still visit, do business with, and can trace their roots to Europe, it makes sense to bring the debate on the future of US-EU relations to your home.

The 4 tasks of a partner-organization are:
1- Provide access to a room for 2h30mn (room facility)
2- Gather an audience of 50-100 people (local anchorage)
3- Identify 1-2 local panelists to launch the debate by commenting briefly on the topics
4- Invite the local press to a 30 mn press-meeting before or after the conference

Why Become a Partner ?

1- To provide to your community a better understanding of the new European Union, focusing on the most important changes in the past 10 years including the introduction of the Euro, the Enlargement towards Eastern Europe, the Iraq crisis and its consequences, the first European Constitution, and, of course, the future of relations with the U.S.

2- Increased visibility for your organization via the conferences and the TIESWeb network of over 30,000 members.

3- Advertise and announce your upcoming activities on the TIESWeb site and in the weekly newsletter.

4- Broaden your European network through the extensive contacts of TIESWeb throughout the 25 EU member countries.

5- Because global peace requires communication and understanding not to mention a powerful and rich transatlantic relationship in the 21st Century.
