Seminar "The Atlantic RIM" (April 27th, 2004)
How can North Atlantic and South Atlantic areas cooperate?
Is there a solution for Africa outside cooperation with Europe and The Americas?
How NAFTA, FTAA, EU and AU could cooperate?
Which cities could play a significant role for an emerging Atlantic Rim?

The 'Atlantic Rim Seminar' will gather about 50 participants from North and South Atlantic continents (Europe, North America, South America and Africa). Leaders from business, academia, civil society and governments coming from countries of these regions, they will assess the nature and possible long term value of the 'Atlantic Rim' concept.

Miami, because of its strategic position at the core of these trans-continental relations, is definitely the right place to start such reflexion.

At a time when the Pacific Rim is moving forward with countries which fundamentally share few things but business interests, it is indeed time to look at the Atlantic where business, history and cultures have been mixing for centuries. More soon...
